ProtectDrive is a Common Criteria (CC) EAL2 certified complete drive encryption solution that protects all data (including operating system files) stored on the hard drive of laptops, workstations or servers. It is commonly employed to protect against disclosure of sensitive information in the case of theft and accidental loss of the hardware device, or re-use after being sold or returned to the lessor.
Ultimate Security
ProtectDrive provides the ultimate level of security by encrypting and decrypting all data ‘on the fly’ using strong, industry proven encryption algorithms to protect confidential information residing on the hard disk against unauthorized disclosure.
Pre-boot authentication prevents unauthorized users from circumventing the operating system to access sensitive information.

ProtectDrive is designed to deliver the ultimate level of usability to minimize and in many instances, eradicate application-training requirements. This facilitates deployment by enabling rapid user adoption across the organization.

- Valid local or domain users are automatically integrated into ProtectDrive’s pre-boot environment regardless of whether they use password authentication or Microsoft’s smart card/token based login with certificates.
